Viseu United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Delta FS the free kick. After 11 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Ziemowit Gdowski. 12 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goalkeeper Adrian Txindoki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcus Odin. Adrian Txindoki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcus Odin's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. The Delta FS fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when Delta FS's Marcus Odin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute, Delta FS's Amedeo De Matteis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adrian Txindoki. Adrian Txindoki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ziemowit Gdowski in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter Roriz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Odin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Adrian Txindoki made a huge save. In the 25th minute Amedeo De Matteis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Valverde in the 29th minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Gualter Roriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Amedeo De Matteis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Txindoki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Viseu United's Ziemowit Gdowski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter Roriz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gualter Roriz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ziemowit Gdowski went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Amedeo De Matteis came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adrian Txindoki could save by the left post. Gualter Roriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Gdowski in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ziemowit Gdowski to make the kick off. Amedeo De Matteis hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. 53 minutes into the match, Viseu United's goal looked a bit too open when Amedeo De Matteis came free, but Adrian Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Odin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amedeo De Matteis scored 4-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Txindoki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mateus Valverde kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Andaka Mula had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrian Txindoki. Viseu United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andaka Mula was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Delta FS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruben Jurgi was slow to take the kick. During this time Viseu United's players had a chance to rest. Viseu United's Ruben Jurgi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gualter Roriz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Ziemowit Gdowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gualter Roriz, 5-3. Viseu United made a substitution. Israel Barea replaced Ziemowit Gdowski. Adrian Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Odin in the 81st minute of the match. Adrian Txindoki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo De Matteis in the 82nd minute of play. Israel Barea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gualter Roriz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Adrian Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andaka Mula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Álvaro Vilaverde notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Viseu United's Adrian Txindoki. Adrian Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

Delta FS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
