Deilmison van Basten might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filippo Falasca. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deilmison van Basten ran back to his position shaking his head. Filippo Falasca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvise Di Leonardo. Antonio Parikatev hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. With his leg Rodriguinho Sousa managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when PowerHawKings's Alvise Di Leonardo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 11 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Vilhelm Skoog. PowerHawKings's Filippo Falasca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 16th minute of play. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damiano Tatangelo in the 18th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes PowerHawKings got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Di Monte. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Filippo Falasca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 31st minute of play forced PowerHawKings's goalkeeper Filippo Falasca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deilmison van Basten took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Falasca. Filippo Falasca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Emiliano Di Monte in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog. Filippo Falasca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deilmison van Basten in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Damiano Tatangelo came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Damiano Tatangelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PowerHawKings fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. When Amerigo Di Fabio fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PowerHawKings's protests and gave Amerigo Di Fabio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th match minute, PowerHawKings was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amerigo Di Fabio to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deilmison van Basten made a kick off. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Tatangelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 52nd minute, Emiliano Di Monte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Tatangelo in the 53rd minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Deilmison van Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Filippo Falasca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a left leg Rodriguinho Sousa saved ATHLETICO PRaiano from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Damiano Tatangelo threw the ball into play from the sideline. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Vilhelm Skoog quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 74th minute, Domenico Taranto made a precise shot to the right of Rodriguinho Sousa. ATHLETICO PRaiano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damiano Walcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 85 minutes of play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Deilmison van Basten made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filippo Falasca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damiano Walcher hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Deilmison van Basten in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Filippo Falasca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Domenico Taranto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alvise Lucidi who took care of the corner kick. PowerHawKings's Alvise Lucidi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rodriguinho Sousa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see PowerHawKings lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
