But to his dismay, Inge Braa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Neron Veterini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Fanström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jake Leonard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Vedholm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doffes Damer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Göran Vedholm in the 12th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Inge Braa got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inge Braa in the 26th minute of play forced WINNING ELEVEN's goalkeeper Jake Leonard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jake Leonard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inge Braa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Leopoldo Barbosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jake Leonard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Carl Nordlander fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doffes Damer's protests and gave Carl Nordlander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when Doffes Damer was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Nordlander didn't get a good kick on the ball. The WINNING ELEVEN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Doffes Damer were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inge Braa to make the kick off. After some careless play in the WINNING ELEVEN defense, Inge Braa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jake Leonard. The WINNING ELEVEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jake Leonard should have stopped the shot. WINNING ELEVEN's Kryspin Zecman was substituted for Julio Gomez. WINNING ELEVEN made a substitution. Hernán Restat replaced Patricio Ostadar. Doffes Damer's Knut Utfal was substituted for Inge Braa. Knut Utfal might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jake Leonard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Knut Utfal ran back to his position shaking his head. Jake Leonard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Knut Utfal in the 81st minute. WINNING ELEVEN's Jake Leonard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save WINNING ELEVEN from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neron Veterini in the 87th minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Gabriel Fanström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hernán Restat kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. When Doffes Damer's Knut Utfal in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye WINNING ELEVEN's goalie prevented a goal. In the 95th minute, Knut Utfal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doffes Damer fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

Doffes Damer's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
