The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, C.A. MILO's Bonifacio Roca got control of the ball when Jacinto Quirino tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute Samuel Valgma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chicão de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Cesar Pereyra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chicão de Azevedo was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Alfonso in the 15th minute of play. Jacinto Quirino received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bonifacio Roca came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacinto Quirino slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. Chicão de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Pereyra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The throw-in from Ruben Crescencio in the 22nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by C.A Gryffindor's Marquinhos Filho. Bonifacio Roca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 23rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacinto Quirino in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Roca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when C.A. MILO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Bonifacio Roca made a huge save. A collision led to C.A. MILO getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Samuel Valgma hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bonifacio Roca narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Pereyra to make the kick off. Bonifacio Roca stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Quirino's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After a rather tough play, C.A. MILO's Ruben Crescencio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After 54 minutes of play, C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifacio Roca was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 57th minute, Tomé de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Pereyra received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Chicão de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cesar Pereyra slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 61st minute. A collision led to C.A. Chicão de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaston Alfonso in the 69th minute. 74 minutes into the game, one of C.A. MILO:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. C.A. MILO's Jonatan Ospetsu was substituted for Cesar Pereyra. Guilherme Mazer took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bonifacio Roca. Bonifacio Roca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When Edgard Mangueira came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the C.A Gryffindor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgard Mangueira couldn't finish the play. Ildefonso Gonsalvo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, C.A. MILO's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Mazer came free, but Bonifacio Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chicão de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Martinez, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
