The audience was convinced that Michal Hudák's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but J.J J.J. was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Adam Hrdina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henk Horneber in the 22nd minute of the match. Michal Hudák took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised J.J J.J.. J.J J.J. dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th minute, Anselmo Bakar made a precise shot to the right of Adam Hrdina. AFK Petržalka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save AFK Petržalka from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper J.J J.J., but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. AFK Petržalka were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Peter Pekarík took the corner. After taking down the ball on AFK Petržalka's corner Peter Pekarík fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and J.J J.J. quite easily take care of the ball. 41 minutes into the match, AFK Petržalka's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Bakar came free, but Adam Hrdina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andre Ziffzer in the 42nd minute. AFK Petržalka's Adam Hrdina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk Horneber in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Anselmo Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Hrdina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugeniusz Poniewaz to make the kick off. 50 minutes into the game, Anselmo Bakar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Adam Hrdina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Hrdina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henk Horneber went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. If Anselmo Bakar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Bakar in the 57th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 85 played minutes AFK Petržalka got a freekick which was hit by Adam Obert. The audience thought a goal was coming when Žigmund Csontos got free with J.J J.J. in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Poniewaz in the 88th minute of play forced AFK Petržalka's goalkeeper Adam Hrdina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikola Krstović in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck J.J J.J. prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Nikola Krstović came free, but J.J J.J. reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match AFK Petržalka got a corner. Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peter Pekarík ran over to the corner to take the kick. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
