The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Flavio Cifuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taltum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Cifuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bandit Sarap breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 12 minutes, Ateş Yavuzer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vérsárkány SE and the Taltum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ateş Yavuzer hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Cifuentes came free, but Bandit Sarap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Cavenaghi in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute of the match Taltum FC got a corner. Vérsárkány SE's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Norbert Dabrowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alvaro Cotobal was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Vérsárkány SE's zone, Marcelo Cavenaghi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bandit Sarap came out of the goal and Marcelo Cavenaghi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th minute Marcelo Cavenaghi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bandit Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nimród Tálas got in the 27th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Zhang Hao Qing handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Cifuentes in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bandit Sarap saved Vérsárkány SE from getting behind. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Máté Kőváry, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Máté Kőváry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zhang Hao Qing. Taltum FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Máté Kőváry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Bandit Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Marcelo Cavenaghi made the kick off in the second half. Nimród Tálas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zhang Hao Qing having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Alvaro Cotobal got a free kick in the 60th minute. After having played for 61 minutes, Tibor Kun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vérsárkány SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tibor Kun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap got control of the ball when Marcelo Cavenaghi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco was substituted for Di Le Jun. Taltum FC's attentive 傅延斐 managed to snatch the ball when Ateş Yavuzer made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. Bandit Sarap was out of position in the 70 minute of play, and Flavio Cifuentes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Flavio Cifuentes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. If Obregón Pardemanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nimród Tálas in the 83rd minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Zhang Hao Qing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tivadar Kereki kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Kőváry in the 89th minute of play. Bandit Sarap showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 90th minute of the match. After 92 minutes Vérsárkány SE's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Norbert Dabrowski who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Norbert Dabrowski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bandit Sarap quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Csongor Tálas in the 94th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Taltum FC's Marcelo Cavenaghi got a free kick in the 94th minute.

With new strength the players walked out on the field for the first half of overtime. Nimród Tálas in Vérsárkány SE was the one to initiate the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urko Vinuesa during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 99th match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urko Vinuesa to maneuver through the defense. Tibor Kun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Zhang Hao Qing made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Obregón Pardemanos in the 102nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bandit Sarap prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tibor Kun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 104th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Máté Kőváry in the 105th minute of play. Bandit Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roldan Castellanos, who was totally free with the ball in the 109th minute. The corner led Taltum FC's Norbert Dabrowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Bandit Sarap despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Obregón Pardemanos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 113th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bandit Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Obregón Pardemanos in the 113th minute of play.

The players still looked rather fresh even though it was time for second half of the overtime. Obregón Pardemanos did a quick kick off. 126 minutes into the match, Vérsárkány SE's goalkeeper Bandit Sarap had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Cotobal. In the 127th minute, Roldan Castellanos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Neither team seemed willing to take risks during extra-time and the defenses won out. The match would now go to a penalty shoot-out.

Zhang Hao Qing had in the 134thth minute some difficulties stopping Marcelo Cavenaghi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcelo Cavenaghi succeeded in the game's 134th minute to get real power on a long shot . Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-2! Zhang Hao Qing had in the 144thth minute some difficulties stopping Zhang Hao Qing's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Zhang Hao Qing led 144 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Vérsárkány SE's Bandit Sarap became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-6. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Taltum FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
