In the 21st minute Leszek Cupial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iago Ozuna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baran Erozan hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind ConChanfle FC's goalkeeper Iago Ozuna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Iago Ozuna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Erozan in the 37th minute. Pepe Ferreira made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kim Bolas immediately put the ball in play. ConChanfle FC's Iago Ozuna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leszek Cupial in the 40th minute of play. Baran Erozan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Iago Ozuna made a huge save. Iago Ozuna came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Sliema Dragons FC's Leszek Cupial. But to his dismay, Leszek Cupial quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Teixeira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes ConChanfle FC got a freekick which was hit by Tiadoro Sabugo. Iago Ozuna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leszek Cupial in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sliema Dragons FC's goalkeeper Barrie Kerridge, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Garaile Ortega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Barrie Kerridge made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, Leszek Cupial left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sliema Dragons FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. ConChanfle FC made a substitution. Vicemte Ocejo replaced Frank Teixeira. Vicemte Ocejo might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Barrie Kerridge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vicemte Ocejo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute Sliema Dragons FC were awarded a corner. Baran Erozan went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Baran Erozan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ConChanfle FC's Iago Ozuna did a great save.
