In the 56th minute Gerd Oolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petr Čech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerd Oolo in the 60th minute of play forced Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerd Oolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes Batalhão do Peçanha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 胡朋云 couldn't finish the play.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Gerd Oolo made the kick off and play began. Gerd Oolo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 100 minutes into the match, Batalhão do Peçanha's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gerd Oolo. In the 105thth minute of the game Ma Kuan Yun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 延边朝鲜族足球俱乐部's Máté Döbrögi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ma Kuan Yun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Máté Döbrögi was relentless in the 105th minute of the game.
