Iordache Mergea hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Malcolm Westerberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Altay Bayındır read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, SARI ZEYBEK's Karl-Oskar Apelkvist made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. But to his dismay, Denílson Tepedino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 32nd minute Denílson Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Bayındır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Denílson Tepedino was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Leonard Åhman tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Altay Bayındır saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Denílson Tepedino put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Altay Bayındır. Camillo Moriggi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Moreno having to interfere. Altay Bayındır showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Tepedino, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Altay Bayındır made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Denílson Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute, Áron Bódog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ADM Taquaras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6.
