Edgar Dres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fryderyk Grucza in the 24th minute of the match. Underdogs's Edgar Dres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fryderyk Grucza in the 25th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Grucza came free, but Edgar Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Underdogs's Edgar Dres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adérito Abreu in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Underdogs's Reşat Orgunalp sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mao Zhen Hong narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Underdogs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Soszka to maneuver through the defense. Adérito Abreu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgar Dres. Underdogs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Adérito Abreu came free, but Edgar Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Dres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrício Lustosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goal looked a bit too open when Fryderyk Grucza came free, but Edgar Dres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apostolis Arvanitoyannis was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Underdogs booed when Academia Monte Gordo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Boruc Brysz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Underdogs's goalkeeper Edgar Dres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adérito Abreu. Adérito Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Edgar Dres made a huge save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of Academia Monte Gordo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Underdogs:s goal. Patryk Kociniewski shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Edgar Dres in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Dres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adélio Infante, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Lustosa got free with Edgar Dres in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 80 minutes into the match, Academia Monte Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Apostolis Arvanitoyannis came free, but Mao Zhen Hong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabrício Lustosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Academia Monte Gordo made a substitution. Reşat Orgunalp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mao Zhen Hong read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play.
