Ain Averin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Joks, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Ain Averin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damazy Joks in the 25th minute. Gigel Botescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hardi Lind, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ain Averin was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Walery Glapiak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Walery Glapiak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damazy Joks in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ain Averin saved FC Dundee from getting behind. The FC Dundee fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when FC Dundee's Hardi Lind looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC Dundee made a substitution. Arno Luuk replaced Hardi Lind. In the 47th minute Arvo Kena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes KS Olimpia Warszawa got a freekick which was hit by Damazy Joks.

FC Dundee's Arvo Kena managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leon Mleczewski in the 51 minute of the game. 55 minutes into the game, Damazy Joks cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ain Averin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 59th minute Arno Luuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Botescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arno Luuk might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigel Botescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arno Luuk ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arno Luuk in the 60th minute of play forced KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Gigel Botescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute Damazy Joks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ain Averin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ain Averin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Damazy Joks's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. After having played for 67 minutes, Damazy Joks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damazy Joks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Zhu Cheng Guo was substituted for Ignacy Sroka. Walery Glapiak hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walery Glapiak to maneuver through the defense. KS Olimpia Warszawa made a substitution. Sharma Sharma replaced Damazy Joks. Verner Dalkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Zhu Cheng Guo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ain Averin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

KS Olimpia Warszawa's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
