The supporters of Wittbach SSA booed when Gloucester City AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Piers Giles didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Gloucester City AFC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Noel Hargrave hit a great ball. Ted Lasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Danny Jumel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Gloucester City AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Kolba came free, but Danny Jumel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ján Oblak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyler Willmott in the 16th minute. In the 20th minute Sven-Åke Petersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Oblak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hargrave in the 21st minute of play. Ján Oblak was a little too slow when Noel Hargrave got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 27th minute of the match, Noel Hargrave tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ján Oblak saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 40th minute, Francis Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Ayala in the 42nd minute of play forced Gloucester City AFC's goalkeeper Danny Jumel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tyler Willmott struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ján Oblak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gloucester City AFC. Ján Oblak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Åke Petersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Wittbach SSA's Roberto Ayala seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roberto Ayala the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Wittbach SSA protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roberto Ayala had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Wittbach SSA from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Wes Carragher made the kick off in the second half. Ján Oblak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wes Carragher in the 54th minute of play. When Bernard Chludzinski fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wittbach SSA's protests and gave Bernard Chludzinski a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Wittbach SSA got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Chludzinski. Sven-Åke Petersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Francis Holt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tyler Willmott kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Wittbach SSA's Jedrzej Ikalewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ján Oblak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wes Carragher in the 76th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Bentkowski got free with Danny Jumel in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Motowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Jumel having to interfere. Wittbach SSA's Ján Oblak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Hargrave in the 95th minute of play. Gloucester City AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wittbach SSA for a fine match.
