Simone Spano hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 8 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Braulio Gartxot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Marcel da Rocha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Red Devils fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascal Som in the 14th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Santa Lucia de Merlo got a corner. Red Devils's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Levan Poggenborg ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 19th minute, Simone Spano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Norberto Tino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After 24 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Slawomir Trzaskoma. 29 minutes into the game, M. Agus Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Braulio Gartxot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Braulio Gartxot came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young. But to his dismay, M. Agus Young quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 37th minute Marcel da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Devils's Slawomir Trzaskoma quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kong Chang Zheng, made in the 41st minute of the game. Slawomir Trzaskoma hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and M. Agus Young made a kick off. Norberto Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Jakes in the 52nd minute of the match. Red Devils were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Santa Lucia de Merlo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sotos Zervoulakos took the corner. Norberto Tino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Simone Spano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Tino having to interfere. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
