After 5 played minutes FairPlay FC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Munhoz. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Gustavo Del Prete took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Benjamin Sampaio to make any attempt to save it. Benjamin Sampaio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Nacional FC's Gustavo Del Prete. But to his dismay, Gustavo Del Prete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Benjamin Sampaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Januário Monteiro in the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Atletico Nacional FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cacá Fonseca came free, but Felipe Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match Jacinto Perez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Varela skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to FairPlay FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Cacá Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Atletico Nacional FC's Luís Virga dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Luís Virga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Sampaio. FairPlay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Virga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Felipe Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Perez in the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Jacinto Perez made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Villarias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Sampaio having to interfere. In the 52nd minute, Luís Virga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Sampaio was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Benjamin Sampaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Januário Monteiro went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Luiz Fabiano Munhoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute, Januário Monteiro made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Sampaio. FairPlay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Luiz Fabiano Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Gustavo Del Prete managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Nacional FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Del Prete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Sampaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandrinho Baiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the game, Atletico Nacional FC's Gustavo Del Prete nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Sampaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. 84 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Villarias came free, but Benjamin Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 played minutes FairPlay FC got a freekick which was hit by Tenho Sorter. Januário Monteiro, 86 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 89th minute, Elias Descalzo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico Nacional FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. 93 minutes into the match, FairPlay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Del Prete came free, but Benjamin Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjamin Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Virga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atletico Nacional FC fully deserved thier win.
