The supporters of Henley on Thames United booed when Gold Team Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Freuler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Dorin Ţopescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sofoklis Prinianakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofoklis Prinianakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Plech in the 22nd minute of the match. The corner led Gold Team Bełchatów's Ignacy Duda to fire away a dangerous shot which Sofoklis Prinianakis despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grant Sherwood got free with Dariusz Kochanowicz in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Henley on Thames United defense, Szczepan Serwacki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sofoklis Prinianakis. The Henley on Thames United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sofoklis Prinianakis should have stopped the shot. Sofoklis Prinianakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iraitz Mudarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Henley on Thames United's Joe Wright got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th match minute, Gold Team Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacy Duda to maneuver through the defense. Henley on Thames United's Huey Claydon was substituted for Joe Wright. In the 88th minute, Ignacy Duda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dariusz Kochanowicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kristian Ottaway's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Dorin Ţopescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Sofoklis Prinianakis made a huge save. Sofoklis Prinianakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Maciej Wieczorek went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Gold Team Bełchatów's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
