Tio Lio hit a great ball. Barbieri Sports's Breno Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tio Lio in the 24th minute of play. Breno Vergílio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Breno Vergílio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tio Lio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tio Lio came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Breno Vergílio could save by the left post. Breno Vergílio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Silva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 54 minute of play. New England Minas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
