Federico Hanni ran back to his position shaking his head. 5 minutes into the match, Palestra14's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Hanni came free, but Frits Heinel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ronaldo Ronaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cain Vieri in the 10th minute of play forced Manantiales Fc's goalkeeper Zbigniew Barowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Palestra14 got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Torelli. Frits Heinel made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Federico Hanni sent off a good shot on target. Federico Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Frits Heinel made a huge save. A collision led to Palestra14 getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Palestra14's players were relieved. Zbigniew Barowicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Fioriti in the 36th minute of play. Federico Hanni came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frits Heinel could save by the left post. After some careless play in the Palestra14 defense, Ronaldo Ronaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frits Heinel. The Palestra14 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frits Heinel should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Ronaldo Ronaldo made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Federico Hanni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Palestra14's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
