When Enis Behiç Cangun came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Palestine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enis Behiç Cangun couldn't finish the play. Jon Calatayud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Healy, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 24th minute, Enis Behiç Cangun reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nikolas Papadamous. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous got control of the ball when Enis Behiç Cangun tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute of the match Palestine got a corner. Jacksonville FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tahsin Savtuna ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st match minute, Jacksonville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michael Oakley to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enis Behiç Cangun got free with Nikolas Papadamous in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Palestine getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Afşar Tokgöz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Healy in the 42nd minute of play forced Palestine's goalkeeper Jon Calatayud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 42 minutes, Cemil Erkılınç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palestine and the Jacksonville FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palestine's Cemil Erkılınç got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Cemil Erkılınç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Cemil Erkılınç kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enis Behiç Cangun in the 61st minute of play. Enis Behiç Cangun might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nikolas Papadamous. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enis Behiç Cangun ran back to his position shaking his head. Nikolas Papadamous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enis Behiç Cangun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enis Behiç Cangun in the 71st minute of play forced Jacksonville FC's goalkeeper Nikolas Papadamous to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Palestine's Süruri Cihansah was substituted for Enis Behiç Cangun. Palestine's Doruk Akgün was substituted for Roman Rothenberger. In the 76th minute of the match Jacksonville FC got a corner. A hard shot by Douglas Berg from long distance, 78 minutes into the match, got Jon Calatayud's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 81 minutes of play, Jacksonville FC's Douglas Berg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jon Calatayud was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nico da Costa during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Palestine's Nico da Costa got a free kick in the 87th minute. Palestine's Basri Canıtez got his second yellow card of the match in the 88th minute. The referee ordered Basri Canıtez off the ground. Basri Canıtez kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match.
