Inácio Amaral started the match with the kick off. De Kasteelheren's Harold Rodenboog got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bram Reinhard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Luís Batista in the 9th minute of the match. Bram Reinhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Batista in the 10th minute of play. Didi Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inácio Amaral in the 13th minute of play. De Kasteelheren's Bram Reinhard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luís Batista in the 21st minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Batista came free, but Bram Reinhard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luís Batista in the 26th minute of play forced De Kasteelheren's goalkeeper Bram Reinhard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, De Kasteelheren's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Batista came free, but Bram Reinhard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Inácio Amaral who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ContraVersão's Didi Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferdi Vorenkamp in the 31st minute of play forced ContraVersão's goalkeeper Didi Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ContraVersão's Pedro Luís Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Didi Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 41 minutes, Arif Ensar İsmet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Kasteelheren and the ContraVersão players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arif Ensar İsmet kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Fausto de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bram Reinhard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. ContraVersão were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after De Kasteelheren's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Patrick Salkvist took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Elias Batista heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 60th minute, Harold Rodenboog ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didi Tróia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bram Reinhard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Batista in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute Pedro Luís Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Reinhard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Inácio Amaral succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 68th playminute. Inácio Amaral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didi Tróia having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Ferdi Vorenkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, De Kasteelheren's Anthony Hillen got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute Pedro Luís Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bram Reinhard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although ContraVersão had been in control for most of the match, De Kasteelheren still came away with the win.
