When Vaccean Warriors's Nicolae Petrulean in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafinha Trancoso in the 6th minute of play forced Vaccean Warriors's goalkeeper Dante Chapel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafinha Trancoso in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Chapel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Vaccean Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Herrera. 16 minutes into the match, Vaccean Warriors's goal looked a bit too open when Rafinha Trancoso came free, but Dante Chapel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolae Petrulean got free with Acácio Lara in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabinho dos Santos in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Chapel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nicolae Petrulean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolae Petrulean in the 40th minute of play forced Club Athletico Paulistano's goalkeeper Acácio Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Nicolae Petrulean had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Acácio Lara. Club Athletico Paulistano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicolae Petrulean was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabinho dos Santos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match, Nicolae Petrulean sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Acácio Lara showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. 57 minutes into the game, Nicolae Petrulean cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Acácio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dante Chapel came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletico Paulistano's Rafinha Trancoso. But to his dismay, Rafinha Trancoso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 67th minute, Jesus Jesus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acácio Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Vaccean Warriors's Tano Di Paolo was substituted for Nicolae Petrulean. 73 minutes into the game, Haakon Brøndsel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Athletico Paulistano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaccean Warriors the free kick. In the 73rd match minute, Club Athletico Paulistano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haakon Brøndsel to maneuver through the defense. Telo Papo's late challenge caught a Club Athletico Paulistano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Telo Papo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Vaccean Warriors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telo Papo to maneuver through the defense. Dante Chapel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafinha Trancoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 91 played minutes Vaccean Warriors got a freekick which was hit by Alastair Pell. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Vaccean Warriors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Athletico Paulistano had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
