Ronaldo Håland ran back to his position shaking his head. Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Raphael Dantas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. Zbigniew Zatorski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariusz Komornicki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Zbigniew Zatorski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mariusz Komornicki. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbigniew Zatorski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Raphael Dantas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ronaldo Håland in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute of the match, Gösta Andreasson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Raphael Dantas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbigniew Zatorski in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Urbano Aballe got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ronaldo Håland kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raphael Dantas. That made the score 1-1 in the 42 minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ-'s Mauro Quirino was substituted for Tim-Florian T. Hansen. The wind increased when Zbigniew Zatorski made the kick off in the second half. Tony Thanos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mariusz Komornicki firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zbigniew Zatorski scored 1-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mariusz Komornicki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE's Mariusz Komornicki got control of the ball when Tony Thanos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Cruzeiro MZC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kristofer Peck to maneuver through the defense. CAMPINAS FUTEBOL CLUBE made a substitution.
