In the 20th minute, Prospero Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adan Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omiros Giannitsanakis charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Omiros Giannitsanakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Punua was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omiros Giannitsanakis to maneuver through the defense. Adan Rafel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Talha Ekin. When Omiros Giannitsanakis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. Punua's Adan Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Wu in the 32nd minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Damaso Gotzon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Punua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El ultimo the free kick. The supporters of El ultimo booed when Punua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. El ultimo's Vladimiro Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damaso Gotzon in the 37th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Adan Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Wu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Wu in the 53rd minute of play forced Punua's goalkeeper Adan Rafel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute Ramon Ignatius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Rafel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Gotzon in the 60th minute of play forced El ultimo's goalkeeper Vladimiro Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adan Rafel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Bemabe in the 74th minute of play. Adan Rafel was left in no man's land by his defense there!
