Constantin Guittonneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rainer Marthaler in the 40th minute of play. Jesus Fix hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Eurico Viana kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Robustiano Calvet. That made the score 4-0 in the 45 minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

AC Collins's Armandinho Loyola managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Albano Argider in the 52 minute of the game. In the 55th match minute, AC Collins was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alessio Furino to maneuver through the defense. AC Collins's Constantin Guittonneau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save AC Collins from getting a goal against them.
