The referee ignored Rechberg FC's protests and gave Tim-Oliver Mackert a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Rechberg FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tim-Oliver Mackert hit a great ball. Aaron Molander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 10 minutes into the match, Dolinka FK's goalkeeper Joey Jordison had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Colombo. Dolinka FK's Joey Jordison proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Dolinka FK from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Erwin van den Brink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Steele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Michael Steele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nasko Minovski in the 38th minute of play. Joey Jordison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Michael Fredriksson's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Michael Steele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Molander in the 41st minute of the match. If Nasko Minovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Steele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwin van den Brink, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The corner led Dolinka FK's Christopher Lundgren to fire away a dangerous shot which Michael Steele despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baltazar Moreira in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michael Steele prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Michael Steele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Utkan Özçin in the 71st minute of the match. Dolinka FK's Joey Jordison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aldo Colombo in the 74th minute of play. Joey Jordison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Karl-Michael Fredriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rechberg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Michael Fredriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dolinka FK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
