Joonatan Schols made an important save on a dangerous shot by Olavs Eliass in the 7th minute. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Telmo Lillo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Genaro Ponciano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Siggman in the 19th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Joonatan Schols successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joonatan Schols took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Hamšík, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Timmy Siggman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Ponciano was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Timmy Siggman notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Iecēni's Genaro Ponciano. The supporters of FC Iecēni booed when Internacional Pechofrío was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Portochao didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Timmy Siggman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Ponciano was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Internacional Pechofrío were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FC Iecēni's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernesto Báez took the corner. In the 45th minute, Timmy Siggman made a precise shot to the right of Genaro Ponciano. FC Iecēni's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The FC Iecēni players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Internacional Pechofrío were winning 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, Olavs Eliass had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joonatan Schols. Internacional Pechofrío's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Olavs Eliass was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Olavs Eliass might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joonatan Schols. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olavs Eliass ran back to his position shaking his head. Genaro Ponciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Siggman in the 63rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Internacional Pechofrío's zone, Olavs Eliass stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joonatan Schols came out of the goal and Olavs Eliass tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Internacional Pechofrío's Timmy Siggman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Genaro Ponciano. That made the score 2-3 after 69 minutes of play. Internacional Pechofrío made a substitution. Su Qian Cheng replaced Timmy Siggman. Internacional Pechofrío made a substitution. Nikolas Ferreira replaced Enzo Portochao. Joonatan Schols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olavs Eliass, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Sarracino Davagnino was slow to take the kick. During this time Internacional Pechofrío's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Internacional Pechofrío's corner Sarracino Davagnino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Genaro Ponciano quite easily take care of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Internacional Pechofrío had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
