After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Horaţiu Bacalbașa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacardi Black Bats's supporters rose to their feet, but Horaţiu Bacalbașa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirko Vervoort breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Vaz in the 26th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Mijdrecht Maffia's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Bacalbașa came free, but Mirko Vervoort reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Vervoort saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes Mijdrecht Maffia's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hermenegildo Rebelo who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Hermenegildo Rebelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mijdrecht Maffia's Mirko Vervoort did a great save. Mirko Vervoort didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Mijdrecht Maffia's Hans Plescher got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Quentin Platt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mirko Vervoort was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Horaţiu Bacalbașa was the one to do the kick off. Mirko Vervoort made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 53rd minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 54th minute. In the 62nd minute, Kurt Holthuis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wojciech Grunwalski hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Bacardi Black Bats made a substitution. Paulino Maia replaced Yao Liang Ming. 72 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Vaz came free, but Artur Brudzisz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, one of Mijdrecht Maffia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mijdrecht Maffia. Mirko Vervoort had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Wojciech Grunwalski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.
