In the 7th minute of the match FRIENDS CITY got a corner. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Wanderson de Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. FRIENDS CITY's Wanderson de Toledo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Karl Martin Bell Burnell in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Faustão de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmir Fernandes in the 8th minute of the match. Walmir Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Faustão de Carvalho made a huge save. In the 16th minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Walmir Fernandes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustão de Carvalho. Faustão de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 19 minutes into the game, Niceto Martxel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Karl Martin Bell Burnell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faustão de Carvalho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Smitt in the 23rd minute. Desportiva Paulo Afonso were awarded a corner in the 24th minute after FRIENDS CITY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tony Domingues took the corner. Robert Smitt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Faustão de Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Lisandro Beltxe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Faustão de Carvalho. That made the score 2-1 after 28 minutes of play. In the 36th minute, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Lisandro Beltxe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Faustão de Carvalho. Faustão de Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Karl Martin Bell Burnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niceto Martxel in the 45th minute of play. Jorginho Paranaense hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Tony Domingues broke free in the 47th minute of the match and struck a powerful long shot that almost became a goal, but instead the ball went outside the right post. An obvious chance of a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wanderson de Toledo to make the kick off. A collision led to FRIENDS CITY getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Niceto Martxel hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of FRIENDS CITY:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Desportiva Paulo Afonso:s goal. Tony Domingues placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience was convinced that Robert Smitt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Faustão de Carvalho was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After some careless play in the FRIENDS CITY defense, Lisandro Beltxe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustão de Carvalho. The FRIENDS CITY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustão de Carvalho should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the game, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Walmir Fernandes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Faustão de Carvalho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robert Smitt in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute of the match Desportiva Paulo Afonso got a corner. FRIENDS CITY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tony Domingues ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Tony Domingues to fire away a dangerous shot which Faustão de Carvalho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Desportiva Paulo Afonso's Karl Martin Bell Burnell got control of the ball when Wanderson de Toledo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 minutes, Gernando Pernambucano made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gernando Pernambucano in the 84th minute of play forced FRIENDS CITY's goalkeeper Faustão de Carvalho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Niceto Martxel's late challenge caught a Desportiva Paulo Afonso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niceto Martxel helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Desportiva Paulo Afonso booed when FRIENDS CITY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Martxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustão de Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gernando Pernambucano went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernando Pernambucano in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Faustão de Carvalho saved FRIENDS CITY from getting behind. Fabinho Cabral hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Faustão de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Smitt in the 94th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Desportiva Paulo Afonso were the better team. Desportiva Paulo Afonso's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
