In the 8th minute of the match, Hilario Telesforo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laurens Roelfs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gerardo Cloyo might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ludwig Jetzek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Minerul Anina's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitrie Fikkers came free, but Ludwig Jetzek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.S. Minerul Anina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ni Jun Tian was slow to take the kick. During this time Nenger de Penger FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Nenger de Penger FC's Abelardo Roderigo getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Perry Priest kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Ludwig Jetzek came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Nenger de Penger FC's Gerardo Cloyo. But to his dismay, Gerardo Cloyo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.S. Minerul Anina's goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laurens Roelfs showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Forrest Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Forrest Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 38 played minutes, Nenger de Penger FC's Ni Jun Tian shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ludwig Jetzek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nenger de Penger FC reached it. Nenger de Penger FC's attack was well implemented in the 41st minute, but when Gerardo Cloyo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Ludwig Jetzek stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Cloyo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. A collision led to A.S. A.S. Minerul Anina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nenger de Penger FC the free kick. The supporters of Nenger de Penger FC booed when A.S. Minerul Anina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mose Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eugenio Oliverio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Ni Jun Tian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Luís Campelo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Jetzek having to interfere. If Abelardo Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minerul Anina supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nenger de Penger FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Nenger de Penger FC.
