Edvin Lundgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mieszko Borkowski in the 10th minute of the match. Dobri Koks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Güvenç Deveci, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Sten Granström hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, HİSAR's Güvenç Deveci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobri Koks narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the HİSAR defense, Edílson Souza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edvin Lundgren. The HİSAR fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edvin Lundgren should have stopped the shot. If Herbert Bobrowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. HİSAR made a substitution. Silviano Huilcaman replaced Güvenç Deveci. The supporters of Fifth Chicken booed when HİSAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Cavaliere didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 45 minutes into the match, Fifth Chicken's goal looked a bit too open when Silviano Huilcaman came free, but Dobri Koks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fifth Chicken made a substitution. Krzysztof Dziewedik replaced Kazimierz Sliwinski. Edvin Lundgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Tipinski in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind HİSAR's goalkeeper Edvin Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th match minute, HİSAR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Béla Hamvas to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Waldemar Tipinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvin Lundgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
