In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pasuculu's goalkeeper Maximo Tendiero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Maximo Tendiero managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximo Tendiero was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 19th match minute, Pasuculu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Malmström to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Jenipapo SC's Aníbal Alagoano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maximo Tendiero. Maximo Tendiero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of Pasuculu booed when Jenipapo SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vinicio Junior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aníbal Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 30th play minutes Aníbal Alagoano shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Maximo Tendiero and just under the crossbar into goal. David Seaman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Klimovich Acebes went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Maximo Tendiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aníbal Alagoano, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Jenipapo SC's Raphael Cunha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Arsenio Gipuzkoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aníbal Alagoano scored 4-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Tendiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Tendiero prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kryspin Fujarczuk to make the kick off. Aníbal Alagoano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Tendiero having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Vinicio Junior made a precise shot to the right of Maximo Tendiero. Pasuculu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Vinicio Junior's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Tendiero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. David Seaman was a little too slow when Klimovich Acebes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 6-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aníbal Alagoano in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximo Tendiero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jenipapo SC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Pasuculu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arsenio Gipuzkoa took the corner. After taking down the ball on Jenipapo SC's corner Arsenio Gipuzkoa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Maximo Tendiero quite easily take care of the ball. Pasuculu's Maximo Tendiero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Aníbal Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Tendiero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raphael Cunha hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Kryspin Fujarczuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aníbal Alagoano scored 7-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximo Tendiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 83rdth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pasuculu's Maximo Tendiero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maximo Tendiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aníbal Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximo Tendiero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aníbal Alagoano went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-2 was the resulting score. Placido Justin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pasuculu's Placido Justin got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the game, Arsenio Gipuzkoa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-2. Maximo Tendiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jenipapo SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
