Angel Xacintu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Munat Tayka's Renato Otto. But to his dismay, Renato Otto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute of the game Uzuri Abella made a throw-in which Ulf Bokelund played forward. 24 minutes into the match, Carhue's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Suárez came free, but Angel Xacintu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 26th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brent-Jan Kindermans might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Oks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brent-Jan Kindermans ran back to his position shaking his head. Carhue made a substitution. Charles De Ketelaere replaced Leon Kaxen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 35th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Xacintu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Suárez in the 38th minute of the match. Aron Oks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Diedrik Van Mechelen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Carhue's Angel Xacintu. Angel Xacintu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brent-Jan Kindermans to make the kick off. Aron Oks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brent-Jan Kindermans in the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xu Wei in the 59th minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Aron Oks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 63 played minutes Carhue got a freekick which was hit by Mario Chago. Aron Oks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles De Ketelaere, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes of play, Carhue's Charles De Ketelaere made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aron Oks was left in no man's land by his defense there! Munat Tayka's Eliseo Mano got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If David Herstad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Xu Wei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Aron Oks was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Munat Tayka were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Carhue's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pacho Abechuco took the corner. The corner ended in Eliseo Mano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Carhue's Angel Xacintu did a great save. After 93 minutes Carhue's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pacho Abechuco who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Ruben Da Silva got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Munat Tayka eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
