Marcus Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Benjamin Price made a huge save. David Lidman kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Adriano Friggieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Txanton in the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, REAL ITALIANI F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Santikurtz came free, but Adriano Friggieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Marcus Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, REAL ITALIANI F.C's Peru Riguera got a free kick in the 62nd minute. If Gerardo Santikurtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the REAL ITALIANI F.C defense, Ernesto Txanton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Friggieri. The REAL ITALIANI F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Friggieri should have stopped the shot. Marcus Bittencourt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Characate FC's Benjamin Price played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darwin Torres in the 87th minute of play. Adriano Friggieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Characate FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
