When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Filomeno Remir sped through Joinville City - FSCMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haji Sarap. Qiu Lin Yi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haji Sarap having to interfere. After 11 minutes of play, Manfredi AFC's Filomeno Remir made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haji Sarap was left in no man's land by his defense there! Geovanildo Luis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Remir in the 21st minute of play. After 25 played minutes Joinville City - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Ulbak. After a rather tough play, Joinville City - FSCMZ's Karsten Ulbak got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 34thth minute of the game Geovanildo Luis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manfredi AFC's Roman Vachon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Karsten Ulbak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Remir's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th match minute, Joinville City - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karsten Ulbak to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Geovanildo Luis made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 53rd minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Roman Vachon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haji Sarap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Remir in the 62nd minute of play. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Marcus Allbäck was substituted for Bernardino Llorenc. Roman Vachon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Manfredi AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manfredi AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
