Kazimierz Dylla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Hermengildo Arotza made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Ryszard Pilipiec dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hermengildo Arotza, 1-0. Kazimierz Dyllas short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Hermengildo Arotza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Academia Club booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mieszko Bartelak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ryszard Pilipiec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Arotza having to interfere. Gilbert Podolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Kazimierz Dylla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermengildo Arotza was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Kazimierz Dylla in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hermengildo Arotza, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kazimierz Dylla did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Hermengildo Arotza 33 minutes into the match. If Radoslaw Trojanowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Arotza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kazimierz Dylla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-0 in the 42 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Radoslaw Trojanowski took a quick shot and it went in 6-0 without a chance for Hermengildo Arotza to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hipolito Elequemedo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Kazimierz Dylla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Arotza. Academia Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kazimierz Dylla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 56th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacek Kolbe to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Academia Club's zone, Ryszard Pilipiec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Arotza came out of the goal and Ryszard Pilipiec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimierz Dylla took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hermengildo Arotza. Hermengildo Arotza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. In the 68th minute, Ryszard Pilipiec left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pogoń Stawiszyn fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. 71 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hermengildo Arotza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Bartosz Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 95th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Witold Gibowski to maneuver through the defense. When Kazimierz Dylla came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Pogoń Stawiszyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kazimierz Dylla couldn't finish the play.
