The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raf Vermaelen, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The corner ended in Tytus Lichucki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel did a great save. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool F.C. YNWA's zone, Claudio Caniglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alisson Becker came out of the goal and Claudio Caniglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tilemachos Romanidis, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tilemachos Romanidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alisson Becker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Caniglia in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th match minute, Liverpool F.C. YNWA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tilemachos Romanidis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ata Bircan in the 23rd minute of play forced Janusze Futbolu's goalkeeper Peter-Michael Schmeichel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Raf Vermaelen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tilemachos Romanidis in the 32nd minute of the match. After 33 played minutes Janusze Futbolu got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Hori. In the 34th minute of the match Tytus Lichucki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tilemachos Romanidis in the 39th minute of play. In the 39th minute Ata Bircan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Ata Bircan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Janusze Futbolu's Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Peter-Michael Schmeichel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Janusze Futbolu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Liverpool F.C. YNWA were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ata Bircan made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ata Bircan got free with Peter-Michael Schmeichel in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Ata Bircan in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Janusze Futbolu's goalie prevented a goal. Eelco Sloothaak got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Tytus Lichucki. Dominik Zawacki might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dominik Zawacki ran back to his position shaking his head. Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Panos Zounis was substituted for Eelco Sloothaak. Peter-Michael Schmeichel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominik Zawacki in the 79th minute of the match. Raf Vermaelen took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter-Michael Schmeichel. Peter-Michael Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, Liverpool F.C. YNWA's Jessy Fux got a free kick in the 87th minute. Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominik Zawacki in the 89th minute of play. Marinos Sidiropoulos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Peter-Michael Schmeichel made a huge save. In the 97th minute of the match Liverpool F.C. YNWA got a corner. Janusze Futbolu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tytus Lichucki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The Liverpool F.C. YNWA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
