The audience was convinced that Inácio Domingues's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Lano was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Bjørn Ironside fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Babel having to interfere. Rocco Siffredi came free with the goalkeeper in the 29th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santo Lano could save by the left post. FC LARISSA Ivanovo's Roman Babel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Prestes in the 34th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emirşah Berkman made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emirşah Berkman in the 53rd minute of play forced FC LARISSA Ivanovo's goalkeeper Roman Babel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Osvaldinho de Queiroz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Roman Babel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carmine Raniolo's late challenge caught a Clube Audax Metropolitano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carmine Raniolo helped the player get up and apologised. Roman Babel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredinho Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. It was Alfredinho Rosa who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Poul Stanković managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When Osvaldinho de Queiroz came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Clube Audax Metropolitano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osvaldinho de Queiroz couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bjørn Ironside got free with Roman Babel in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Inácio Domingues managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC LARISSA Ivanovo's supporters rose to their feet, but Inácio Domingues was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santo Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Clube Audax Metropolitano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
