An unexpectedly hard shot by Clayton Gol in the 19th minute of play forced TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Ferdinand Joldea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sheriff's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TIMETER EC -DMZ- the free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Gorzkiewicz made a kick off. Yahia van der Saar made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Teofil Gorzkiewicz sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Sheriff's Giannis Polizos got a free kick in the 56th minute. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Rivaldo Brasil was substituted for Guilherme Félix. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferdinand Joldea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 97th minute, Anastasios Machlas made a precise shot to the right of Ferdinand Joldea. TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1.
