The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Smolarek in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iago Ozuna saved ConChanfle FC from getting behind. After 4 minutes ConChanfle FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessandro Del Piero who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Frank Teixeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. ConChanfle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Teixeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredo Torelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Torelli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Teixeira in the 11th minute. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by ConChanfle FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alessandro Del Piero was slow to take the kick. During this time Manfredonia Calcio 1932's players had a chance to rest. 19 minutes into the match, ConChanfle FC's goal looked a bit too open when Achille Barbato came free, but Iago Ozuna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Manfredonia Calcio 1932's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Teixeira came free, but Alfredo Torelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Manfredonia Calcio 1932 booed when ConChanfle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaile Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Iago Ozuna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Smolarek, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The ConChanfle FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. A collision led to ConChanfle FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Romulo Blai hit a great ball.
