A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Matt Friend hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's Efraim Morais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luke Bush narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tytus Pracki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hu Jie Rong got free with Luke Bush in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Friend in the 13th minute of play forced Putra Rewulu's goalkeeper Adrianus Tambunan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrianus Tambunan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franz Midgley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes T H F C got a freekick which was hit by Franz Midgley. Tiburcio Ledesma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luke Bush. T H F C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tytus Pracki kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donny Beckwith in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hu Jie Rong in the 32nd minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Luke Bush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Putra Rewulu booed when T H F C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronan Sugden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's goal looked a bit too open when Donny Beckwith came free, but Adrianus Tambunan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41stth minute of the game Donny Beckwith who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of T H F C booed when Putra Rewulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hu Jie Rong didn't get a good kick on the ball. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

T H F C made a substitution. Shawn Coulson replaced Donny Beckwith. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Franz Midgley to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, T H F C's goal looked a bit too open when Hu Jie Rong came free, but Luke Bush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Bush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efraim Morais, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Putra Rewulu's Honorato Zambujal was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Luke Bush in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 70 minutes into the match, Putra Rewulu's Hu Jie Rong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luke Bush narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Putra Rewulu's Adrianus Tambunan got control of the ball when Matt Friend tried to sneak it across the goal line. T H F C's Rowan Tyler was substituted for Matt Friend. Putra Rewulu made a substitution. Yaya Assegaf replaced Nuriana Limbong. After 75 minutes Putra Rewulu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Gillow who took care of the corner kick. T H F C's Daniel Gillow was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adrianus Tambunan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Yaya Assegaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Luke Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, T H F C's Adrianus Tambunan threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Shawn Coulson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hu Jie Rong fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Bush having to interfere. In the 89th minute Shawn Coulson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrianus Tambunan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Putra Rewulu's Hu Jie Rong got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yaya Assegaf in the 95th minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Luke Bush to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Putra Rewulu got a corner. T H F C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Yaya Assegaf ran over to the corner to take the kick. T H F C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
