The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6thth minute of the game Ralf Albäck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th minute, Unax Mudarra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ITAFUT 4EVER's goalie prevented a goal. 13 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Albäck came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodriguinho Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Barycz in the 21st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ATHLETICO PRaiano's Ralf Albäck got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind ITAFUT 4EVER's goalkeeper Nilson Peres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Deilmison van Basten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ralf Albäck kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Ryszard Barycz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Deilmison van Basten came free, but Nilson Peres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The wind increased when Ryszard Barycz made the kick off in the second half. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save ITAFUT 4EVER from getting a goal against them. Ryszard Barycz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Heitor Maldini was substituted for Betão Marquez. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Denílson Magalhães was substituted for Ralf Albäck. ITAFUT 4EVER's Nilson Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 64th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodriguinho Linhares in the 65th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. ITAFUT 4EVER's Boguslaw Tarasek was substituted for Evelio Rico. After 74 played minutes ATHLETICO PRaiano got a freekick which was hit by Denílson Magalhães. Denílson Magalhães struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nilson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. A collision led to ITAFUT 4EVER getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. João Vítor Porto hit a great ball. Unax Mudarra struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Nilson Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ATHLETICO PRaiano. Jardel Baggio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jardel Baggio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
