Jan-Erik Tunberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jonathan Orozco made a huge save. Alfredo Stefano charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Erik Tunberg to make the kick off. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Hjálmar Jónsson the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Polly Magoo Juniors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hjálmar Jónsson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Polly Magoo Juniors getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Hjálmar Jónsson hit a great ball. Billesholm's Klas Ahlström was substituted for Carl Berglund. Alfredo Stefano kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Polly Magoo Juniors's Jan-Erik Tunberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Orozco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Klas Ahlström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Gigio Buffon 78 minutes into the match. Billesholm's Stig Lilja was substituted for Candido Tano. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
