An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 7th minute of play forced Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ladislao Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lei Jian Xiong's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Lei Jian Xiong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Wu Hao Xu sent off a good shot on target. Victor Abaurre kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Sebastián Sosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wu Hao Xu in the 24th minute. Sebastián Sosa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Hao Xu's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Wu Hao Xu got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 25th minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. 29 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lei Jian Xiong came free, but Sebastián Sosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lei Jian Xiong in the 33rd minute of play. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saverio Medardo in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arsenio Manuelo during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Arsenio Manuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Enekoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastián Sosa having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Vladimiro Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Torm in the 74th minute of play. Sebastián Sosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökçe Yalazalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Gökçe Yalazalp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Sosa. Timoteo Fiz made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vikingos FC's Roberto Perfumo. The supporters of Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ booed when Vikingos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Vito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Cai Wei Xi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastián Sosa. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cai Wei Xi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1.

The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ had won after a very even match.
