In the 14th minute, The Lycans FC's Leo Hidalgo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Cyprian Oliszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Min Beltranilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pieterjan Neef, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 26 minutes, Cyprian Oliszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyprian Oliszewski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pieterjan Neef in the 31st minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Min Beltranilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Oliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Min Beltranilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 35th minute of the match. Amílton Loyola's late challenge caught a The Lycans FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amílton Loyola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amílton Loyola to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of ORIZABA F.C. booed when The Lycans FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Tono didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Loyola hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Radomir Karbowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Oliver Kan made a huge save. Virgil van Dijk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Min Beltranilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyprian Oliszewski to make the kick off. Min Beltranilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyprian Oliszewski in the 52nd minute of play. The shot was a little too simple and Min Beltranilla could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in The Lycans FC's zone, Cyprian Oliszewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Min Beltranilla came out of the goal and Cyprian Oliszewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cyprian Oliszewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Min Beltranilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyprian Oliszewski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Fausto Beattie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cyprian Oliszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Min Beltranilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyprian Oliszewski in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Min Beltranilla saved The Lycans FC from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cyprian Oliszewski got free with Min Beltranilla in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, The Lycans FC's Radomir Karbowski got a free kick in the 84th minute. Min Beltranilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Oliszewski's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. The throw-in from Laureano Tono in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ORIZABA F.C.'s Julian Kosakowski. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Hidalgo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Julian Kosakowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ORIZABA F.C. were furious when Fausto Beattie was red carded, 95 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 96 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Beattie. After a defensive mix-up in ORIZABA F.C.'s zone, Ubaldo Kelemen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oliver Kan came out of the goal and Ubaldo Kelemen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

For all the effort they put into the match, the ORIZABA F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Lycans FC.
