Yao Kun Lei started the match with the kick off. Thorben Meisel kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Paata Gagnidze got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paco Zamora quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 14 played minutes ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Incendio. Paco Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Incendio in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Diego-Pablo Simeone got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 43rd minute ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ were awarded a corner. Paata Gagnidze went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Paata Gagnidze to fire away a dangerous shot which Paco Zamora despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.

The wind increased when Efrain Incendio made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Baki Koyas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paco Zamora came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Gust Mathijs. But to his dismay, Gust Mathijs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to GALATASARAY O.Z. getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Cengizhan Kaan hit a great ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paco Zamora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Jaime Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yao Kun Lei in the 64th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilton Mandrak got free with Paco Zamora in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Incendio in the 72nd minute of play forced GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baki Koyas fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY O.Z.'s protests and gave Baki Koyas a yellow card for diving instead. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ's Milan Itzov was substituted for Gust Mathijs. ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ made a substitution. Luis Rius replaced Efrain Incendio. Baki Koyas hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Paco Zamora acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 76th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Aurelio Cebrian. After 78 minutes, Luis Rius mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ and the GALATASARAY O.Z. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Rius to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Itzov in the 88th minute of play forced GALATASARAY O.Z.'s goalkeeper Paco Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GALATASARAY O.Z.'s attentive Seppo Palsola managed to snatch the ball when Aivo Viilop made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. Paco Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th play minute Luis Rius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Paco Zamora. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ľƼ-6-ľȜ ♆ ƬЄ ƢƲЄƦЄƧ MƛƬƛƦ eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
