Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcial Roldanillo started the match with the kick off. Ramon-Angel Sadurni who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Santo Lano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bjørn Ironside's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Sá. In the 14th minute Emirşah Berkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emirşah Berkman in the 18th minute of play forced Pincha FC's goalkeeper Carlos Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Clube Audax Metropolitano's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Silvino came free, but Santo Lano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Agustin Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emirşah Berkman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Quentin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victorio Hondo in the 29th minute of play. Emirşah Berkman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Hondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Roldanillo got free with Santo Lano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Hondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Hondo to maneuver through the defense. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bjørn Ironside in the 44th minute of play. Carlos Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Prestes in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emirşah Berkman to strike the kick off in the second half. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Santo Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Silvino in the 50th minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Victorio Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santo Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agustin Silvino in the 56th minute of play. After 58 minutes Clube Audax Metropolitano's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Victorio Hondo who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bjørn Ironside got free with Carlos Quentin in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustin Silvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Lano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Clube Audax Metropolitano's Fabricio Enekoitz was substituted for Claudinho Quadros. 70 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Poul Stanković came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santo Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Carlos Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Poul Stanković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos-Salvador Bilardo to maneuver through the defense. Pincha FC's Darren McDonald was substituted for Victorio Hondo. The supporters of Clube Audax Metropolitano booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos-Salvador Bilardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pincha FC's Carlos Quentin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Pincha FC from getting a goal against them. Santo Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Roldanillo in the 79th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Agustin Silvino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Santo Lano was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. After 95th play minutes Osvaldinho de Queiroz shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Carlos Quentin and just under the crossbar into goal. The Clube Audax Metropolitano supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Clube Audax Metropolitano would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
