Franco Armani came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Sinbosteros's Uriel Mikeldi. But to his dismay, Uriel Mikeldi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Sinbosteros from getting a goal against them. When Sinbosteros's Ariel Alfonso in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Adrogue FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 22 minutes, Ariel Alfonso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Adrogue FC's Franco Armani tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 25th minute Laureano Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Tab saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Laureano Vergaray cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Maximiliano Tab was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maximiliano Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Tomas Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Tab took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Vergaray, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uriel Mikeldi's late challenge caught a Adrogue FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Uriel Mikeldi helped the player get up and apologised.

Maximiliano Tab made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 55th minute of play. Laureano Vergaray struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Maximiliano Tab didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Adrogue FC. Juan Pablo Angel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maximiliano Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 65th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laureano Vergaray in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximiliano Tab saved Sinbosteros from getting behind. Ariel Alfonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ariel Alfonso got free with Franco Armani in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ariel Alfonso in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Armani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximiliano Tab showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laureano Vergaray in the 75th minute of the match. When Laureano Vergaray came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Adrogue FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laureano Vergaray couldn't finish the play. Adrogue FC's Marcelo Gallardo was substituted for Laureano Vergaray. If Marcelo Gallardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sinbosteros's Maximiliano Tab played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Gallardo in the 81st minute of play. Franco Armani made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Vicente Eyague sent off a good shot on target. 87 minutes into the match, Sinbosteros's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Gallardo came free, but Maximiliano Tab reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th match minute, Sinbosteros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Urko to maneuver through the defense. Maximiliano Tab showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. If Piti Martinez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sinbosteros would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
