In the 9th minute of the match, Thanos Kalikis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ryszard Chludzinski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 10th minute, Henrik Kock had to leave the field with a concussion. Wincent Zabrzeski's late challenge caught a El Pinar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wincent Zabrzeski helped the player get up and apologised. El Pinar made a substitution. Urtsua Flayre replaced Henrik Kock. When Jacek Fujara came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the AC KaM Kutno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacek Fujara couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the match, El Pinar's goal looked a bit too open when Jacek Fujara came free, but Ni Tian Peng reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of El Pinar booed when AC KaM Kutno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wojciech Juzda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ni Tian Peng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willy Gunckel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thanos Kalikis in the 22nd minute of play forced AC KaM Kutno's goalkeeper Ryszard Chludzinski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Nikos Valassiou dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ryszard Chludzinski, 1-0. Ni Tian Peng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willy Gunckel was the one to do the kick off. Ni Tian Peng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willy Gunckel's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. AC KaM Kutno's Ryszard Chludzinski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Valassiou in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Valassiou in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Chludzinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th minute Celedonio Llin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Chludzinski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC KaM Kutno made a substitution. Wieslaw Chazen replaced Zachariasz Kochniarczyk. AC KaM Kutno's Armin Cirigliano was substituted for Cezary Teofila. Thanos Kalikis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A nice corner shot did that Willy Gunckel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ni Tian Peng quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ryszard Chludzinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Castellon in the 87th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Pinar's Ronaldo Feloaga got a free kick in the 90th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nikos Valassiou in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ryszard Chludzinski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Pinar had won after a very even match.
