Lokomotiv Bornova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Napier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Germanas Judeikis in the 9th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Jacinto Cuadrado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Lokomotiv Bornova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ömür Bürge to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Germanas Judeikis came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Cuadrado came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lokomotiv Bornova's Germanas Judeikis. But to his dismay, Germanas Judeikis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paes came free, but Sezai Yura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Rolando Amorebieta made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lokomotiv Bornova's Sezai Yura tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Germanas Judeikis might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Cuadrado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Germanas Judeikis ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Germanas Judeikis got free with Jacinto Cuadrado in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sezai Yura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Amorebieta's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Sezai Yura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Válbson Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sezai Yura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Napier in the 44th minute of the match. Boca Juniors's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rolando Amorebieta in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After some careless play in the Boca Juniors defense, Germanas Judeikis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Cuadrado. The Boca Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Cuadrado should have stopped the shot. Sezai Yura made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Válbson Paes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Boca Juniors's Diego Napier slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sezai Yura. That made the score 3-3 after 62 minutes of play. Boca Juniors's Jacinto Cuadrado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germanas Judeikis in the 65th minute of play. Rolando Amorebieta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Germanas Judeikis took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Cuadrado. Jacinto Cuadrado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. Lazaro Marin got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rainerio Obis. Alp Eren kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Lokomotiv Bornova booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válbson Paes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacinto Cuadrado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heintje Heinen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Germanas Judeikis came free, but Jacinto Cuadrado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Lokomotiv Bornova's goalkeeper Sezai Yura had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Válbson Paes.
