In the 9th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes in the game Clemente Moura did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Milen Kúlvachev. Andy Cole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rubén Urruti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andy Cole got free with Rubén Urruti in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Andy Cole came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Floresta Negra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Cole couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute Miguel Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egun Pais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Floresta Negra FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Auriolam II C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lokon Pøhl took the corner. Rubén Urruti made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andy Cole in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andy Cole in the 40th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Godoy in the 44th minute of play forced Floresta Negra FC's goalkeeper Egun Pais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Cole to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesc Balmaseda got free with Egun Pais in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Floresta Negra FC's Andy Cole got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andy Cole took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubén Urruti. Rubén Urruti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. In the 67th minute, Andy Cole ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rubén Urruti was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Auriolam II C.F. made a substitution. Pelayo Mendez replaced Sven-Erik Söderberg. Floresta Negra FC's Harris Zoolingen was substituted for Milen Kúlvachev. Egun Pais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Godoy in the 75th minute of play. In the 77th minute of the match, Miguel Godoy tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egun Pais saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 80 played minutes Floresta Negra FC got a freekick which was hit by Alto Muro. In the 82nd minute, Harris Zoolingen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the game, Floresta Negra FC's Jardel Lewandowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rubén Urruti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. The supporters of Floresta Negra FC booed when Auriolam II C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabri Gutierrez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jardel Lewandowski in the 95th minute of play forced Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Jesús Perera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Auriolam II C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. Auriolam II C.F.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
