Carlos Germano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurgain Ruiz went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evaristo Castro got free with Carlos Germano in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Laurgain Ruiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 18 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Laurgain Ruiz came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Benigno Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Carlos Germano made a huge save. MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benigno Abreu in the 34th minute of play. Ismael Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benigno Abreu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes MAZER SAF got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Hellbom. Ismael Negri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Jaizki's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAZER SAF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Remigio Erramu was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Atlanta's players had a chance to rest. Remigio Erramu made a great header on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner, it was just that MAZER SAF's Ismael Negri managed to reach the ball for a save. After 44 minutes, Jorginho Mello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MAZER SAF and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MAZER SAF's Jorginho Mello got a free kick in the 45th minute. Carlos Germano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurgain Ruiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Jaizki made a kick off. Carlos Germano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Castro in the 52nd minute of play. When Evaristo Castro, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 52 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Germano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fabio Artaldo charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Artaldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carlos Germano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurgain Ruiz went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Murillo Lima replaced Kang Wei Lin. MAZER SAF made a substitution. Yuri Alberto replaced Laurgain Ruiz. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Fabio Artaldo got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when MAZER SAF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Evaristo Castro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Germano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri Alberto in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by MAZER SAF's Evaristo Castro. But to his dismay, Evaristo Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yuri Alberto in the 91st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Yuri Alberto in the 91st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benigno Abreu in the 95th minute of play forced MAZER SAF's goalkeeper Ismael Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
